GREAT turnout for our union picnic at Fort Lincoln Park on September 12, 2015. We had fellow union brother and sisters bring out their families to attend. Thanks to everyone attending and everyone doing their part to make it another successful family picnic.

It is with a sad and heavy heart that we have to notify our members, friends, and the labor and political community of the passing of Mr. DuJuan “Rick” Malachi, 50. Rick was the Political Director/Organizing Director/Business Agent and Jack of all Trades for SEIU Local 722. We are still in the process of gathering information on his passing. We were excited to host our 2015 Career Day with Andrew Jackson Academy. The Career Day was held at CNMC & WHC. We had hospital staff as speakers and students learned a lot from the presentations. Our Career Day creates a link between the classroom and the workplace by allowing students to explore various health care career options so that they can make informed educational and career choices.
